Let’s check out the names of the players bound to become the next big thing in the Premier League.

Ethan Nwaneri

Arsenal is all about youngsters. Since Arsene Wenger’s time, the Gunners have played a lot of young players, giving them space and time to shine on the pitch. Nwaneri, a versatile midfielder, debuted in September 2022. He was 15 at the time. Of course, he is the youngest to ever play in the Premier and he didn’t see the pitch a lot before this year but now he seems more than ready to become a full-time starter.

Trey Nyoni

In absence of big signings during the latest transfer window, Arne Slot’s Liverpool chose to give their youngsters a chance. Nyoni, a dynamic midfielder, showed a lot of talent and is now seeing the pitch pretty regularly. He was just another boy happy to walk through the legacy of Anfield a few months ago. Now he’s probably going to be one of its next top players. His skills were on display during the pre-season and in some National Cup clashes, now the fans are eager to see him play in the Premier League 24/25.

Toby Collyer

Collyer played a lot under Erik Ten Hag, exactly like Kobbie Mainoo last year. Now Man Utd is led by Ruud Van Nistelrooy, and the legendary striker didn’t say what his plans are with the young central midfielder. However, it is difficult to imagine the coach shying away from the central midfielder. Collyer is at ease when he has possession, can defend very well and is able to move the ball forward. He is only 20 years old but possesses great vision already and understands his role perfectly.

James McAtee

The Citizens, the other team from Manchester, can count on some good young players of its own. McAtee spent last season on loan, at Sheffield United, and is now back with Pep Guardiola. The Catalan declared his love for the attacking midfielder, underlining how he would like for the young one to insert immediately in the scheme, in order to be able to play more minutes. Macca, as he is nicknamed, already showed that he can score at will and free himself of his defender very smoothly.

There are a lot of other interesting young players in the Premier League 24/25, but we decided to write about these because of the environment they are playing in. When you are this young and already making strides in the top teams, you must have something special in you.
